Landgoed Kattenbergse Hoeve

I once knew this place as Camping de Kattenberg, and I'm not entirely sure I like all of the changes that are being made. Although the accomodations are notably improved, the little camping shop is gone, and all the activities are centered in a single area, whereas children used to be able to play in multiple locations. The modernization makes sense, but it still takes away some of that classic camping feel. It seems it's slowly being turned into a bungalow park instead- and I'll mourn the camping I grew up with when that happens. The adaptions made are also incomplete. Although it's made modern, it's not made any more accessible: it's practically impossible to stay here if you cannot walk well.

Nice quiet place with a friendly atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Camping is child-friendly.

We had a wonderful week at the campsite. Spacious pitches, helpful and very hospitable lady behind the reception, lady from the terrace had to run to keep up with the warm weather but she did fine and very friendly. Plumbing was CLEAN at any time of the day really compliments to the lady who cleaned there👍 was very nice especially in the corona time. You do not have to reserve a swimming pool, which is very nice with the heat, it is large enough to cool off. IN SHORT A CAMPSITE WHERE YOU ARE VERY WELCOME !!!

Pool is lovely, staff very friendly. The sanitary is always CLEAN! The cleaning lady is a topper! There is a farm with cafeteria, ice cream parlor and a small map with a nice couple. No shop but you can order sandwiches. In the main season a small animation team. Nice for a few weeks, not (yet) for a whole season with children. I miss a youth / chillout room and a table tennis table.
