Deferred maintenance. Price / quality is out of proportion. Location is nice, quiet and close to the nice village of Medemblik.

+ points • Nice quiet location with a view of nature • Cozy and nicely decorated house • Nice soft beds • Senseo device with pads • Refrigerator - points • Not cleaned so well (now even during corona period!) • Very stuffy at night in the house • Place mosquitoes and insect pests, possibly a fly catcher or an insect lamp. This allowed us to have a mosquito hunt before going to sleep, because we are allergic to insect stings. We would give 4 stars if something is done to the mosquitoes.

You cannot expect much for this money, but you do think that cleaning could be better. Had asked if we got clean towels which we got, the old towels were still on the floor in the shower, when we came back is not really service. There should also be something to do about the parking lot, is a large mud pool.

Nice location, because of corona have to take care of our breakfast ourselves, but was no problem. The disadvantage was the thousands of mosquitoes here. An air conditioner may also be connected. House was very warm.
