We saw this museum by accident and were not very convinced ... we were wrong. The museum is wonderful, one of a kind !! It is absolutely worth it, the gentleman who runs it is nice, helpful and explained the various microminiatures in depth. If you are in Amsterdam and want to come to Volendam do not miss such an opportunity! ☺️

It is still unclear how someone can create the inspiration and the patience to place a rose in a human hair such a thing is only possible if you can bring back the hit. In Modial Museum Volendam you will be explained in word and image how something came about. Definitely worth to see for yourself what is made visible by a microscope.
