Had a short time around here during a tour the views here are stunning! Such nice vibes and very friendly locals had a lovely time here.

The parking spot is free of charge, only busses need to pay 12€ for the day. In Zandvoort you need to pay 13€ per day for a regular car, so parking free of charge is always very much appreciated. It's always weird too see tons of people reviewing a parking lot, but instead writing how much they liked or didn't like the town...

Volendam is a quaint little fishing village on the outskirts of Amsterdam. It was a scheduled stop in the country side bus tour. We got to stroll through the village center which is right on water. Several shops have opened up selling souvenirs, clothing, food and drinks to the regular traffic of tourists from Amsterdam. Step away from the commercial row to enjoy water vistas and sail boats. Depending on time of year, Volendam weather can be inviting or biting. We spent about half hour in the village area to soak in its simplicity and beautiful small homes facing the water. Quiet town that's tranquil and friendly to tourists. Enjoyed our time at Volendam.

A beautiful fishermen village near the sea of Holland. The parking area actually before the entrance of the village area. Along the road of Volendam is beautiful. We enjoyed the wind, the sun, the sea and its wave, also the shops around it. Many souvenir shops, cheese workshop, snack stalls, and restaurants. We also took some photograph of traditional Dutch costume in one of the photo studio there. Lots of activities to enjoy in Volendam!
