I rented a J/70 with two friends. I arranged everything by email. The boat was available from 0900, and we could borrow a 4-stroke outboard engine to get out of port. The boat was in perfect conditions, we had a day of great fun out on the Markenmeer. When we returned we ran slightly aground on the muddy bottom (a common occurence in Monnickendam). We managed to get free by ourselves, but by then one person from the company had already noticed our predicament - they came out on a small powerboat, ready to tow us. It was a very friendly touch. Everything went well, the personnel is also fluent in English. You can rent waterproof sailing gear if you did not bring your own.
