Significant damage occurring during yacht transport is only reported a day later with the statement that Botenman is not responsible (According to general transport regulations, a carrier is liable for all damage to the cargo during the journey). The neatly paid transport does not appear to be insured abroad as standard at Botenman, unlike its colleagues - beware! Botenman does not take his own responsibility and leaves his customers with the misery and thousands of euros in damage ...

(I write this under my wife's account but it is mine, Arnold Molenaar) It is true that we bought the boat from you privately and that we needed a trailer. You indicate that we went for the cheapest solution I just don't understand why you quote this? You are the one who said that this is a good trailer for what we want to use it so we have blindly assumed that it is good. You also write that you have put the boat on the trailer and set it up “free of charge”, we have agreed this with you, so why should you mention this? You indicate about the extendable parts of the light bar that this can be extended, but that this is not necessary in the Netherlands, as you have put the boat on the trailer. If we want to go abroad, it has to be extended. I could indeed extend this myself, but we are not going abroad with the trailer. As you have put the boat on the trailer and set it in the Netherlands, this has been said several times by you. You indicate that a propeller cover is not necessary, but the police really think differently. We have had a ticket because protruding parts protruded past the light bar and if there had been a cover around it, it would have been okay, says the police. It is a pity that you apparently do not understand it. We assumed you with blind faith because we thought you were reliable. (if only we had known better) that is why we asked you to pay the ticket because you have set everything and said several times that it was okay to drive like this. So we do not find it so strange to ask if you want to take responsibility for the fine. You write that you communicated that we had to mark the protruding parts, unbelievable that you write this this was never said by you YOU LIE, we had brought an orange vest for sure and we tied it together but that was not necessary said you still. Then you start with Rijkswaterstaat where we said that we know the rules in traffic well and that we were convinced to drive like this. How do you get there? Last year took my boat away for storage and maintenance very friendly guy and was helped very neatly. My boat looked great and my engine ran like a charm again.
