We had issued an almost new, good quality goose down comforter for steaming. When they returned, they made the mistake of changing our blankets for someone else's (he was in the same Ikea bag). However, we only found out at home, since everything blankets are about the same color, and I don't think it is a matter of confidence to investigate on the spot whether the blanket is yours. There were several stains on the blanket that we got back and it was of lesser quality. We therefore went back with the idea to change the blanket for ours. However, it turned out that this was picked up by another customer. Hereby also a call to this customer to be honest and to bring the blanket back. To our surprise, the owner tried to promote the blanket in poor Dutch with the argument that it was of very good quality. We were of course not happy with the failure of the dry cleaners and frankly finished with it so we asked for the dry cleaning costs and left the blanket behind. For us it is all over, but I would not let it steam again. The source of the error was primarily because there was no unique identification written on the receipt, but only: "Goose down comforter". So here is a tip to the dry cleaner to prevent this in the future and to improve the service: write an identification number that is unique on each receipt in consultation with the customer.
