SCANDALOUS! Not a good word for these two gentlemen. We started a renovation half a year ago. All walls have been plastered again, new carpet has been laid, all the furniture in the bedrooms has been replaced and the windows have been decorated with mosquito nets. Messrs. Van de Bilt supplied the cupboards, dining table, carpet, lamps, window decorations, mosquito nets and chairs with us. The total amount that we lost with these gentlemen was substantial, so a good customer. When the gentlemen had installed the window decorations, a number of things turned out to be wrong. First, it was completely wrong. The lunettes were too short on all sides. The next point was that a particularly bad advice was given. For example, windows could no longer open and the mosquito nets were difficult to operate. A piece of blinds were even mounted at the front door that blew a meter into the room when the door opened. Finally, the assembly was performed so poorly that parts came down, masking strips had to be used and many more tricks to hide all errors. To make matters worse, so many holes have been drilled incorrectly that our beautiful stucco has come off the wall and the wooden frames have been split apart. For us this was a spoiled cherry on a renovation that went smoothly. Eventually Jan van de Bilt came to the damage after a lot of insistence. To his great surprise, he did nothing about the problem, but he stuck his head in the sand. Because we found it unacceptable, we had the things dismantled and returned. Less than a week later, an invoice suddenly appeared on the mat asking if we would like to pay 100% of the invoice within 7 days. We contacted Van de Bilt but he did not give home. Not soon after we received a letter from their legal assistance insurance. It stated that we were obliged to pay within 7 days, otherwise a collection agency would arrive. Full of stupid surprise and frustration, we have taken our own lawyer into our hands. We have lived with cardboard for the windows for more than 4 months, had to hire legal assistance and played an endless yes-no game. How crooked is it that someone will demolish your house and then legally claim 100% of the invoice. Do you have no respect or feeling for your customers? Outrageous and really rude. Service to the door I would say! We will therefore strongly advise you not to use Van de Bilt.

Have been coming to this shop for 35 years, always receive very pleasant help, professional knowledge, every time extremely good advice, excellent service, a cup of coffee, in short: highly recommended to purchase furniture, lamps, carpets and curtains at this shop.
