Nice history about Geertruidenberg with a pleasant explanation by the hostess
Beautiful historic building with beautiful collection of paintings that show the history of Geertruidenberg. We were extensively informed by guide Corry about the history of the city on the basis of a model. Excavations and a well are to be seen in the basement and we have seen a half-hour film about Old and New wealth.
A very nice and cozy museum. Nice exhibition about St. Nicholas above and some beautiful and unique pieces below from excavations, sometimes found with great luck, such as the sword!

Very good guide, was very interesting
This nice museum is located in perhaps the most beautiful building of the historic market of this lively fortified town. The porch of the museum is reserved for a tourist office with super friendly staff that really takes the time for you. Once inside the museum (with museum year card) you will be surprised by an intimate and real historical atmosphere where you can see many different things. There are a number of large models and two life-size seccos. A film of the restoration is shown in the museum. The restored sword is also beautiful to see. On the ground floor that is reached by a beautiful stone staircase, another part of the museum can be seen with, among other things, pottery that has been found at various places in Geertruidenberg. The museum is not large, but fits perfectly with a visit to Geertruidenberg. Recommended!
