Unpaved parking space. Muddy shoes in wet weather, but your car does not get stuck. Here you are in a corner of the heath. Close to the sheepfold and restaurants, but also on the unpaved road to Geldrop or the semi-paved cycle path to Mierlo. This is where the large quiet heathland begins, with long walking and cycling paths, where you sometimes come across the herd of sheep. If you cross the Somerenseweg in the south it just continues, although it then becomes more forest than heath. Fine catering is also hidden there in the form of Boscafé De Soete Inval. In this area you can walk or cycle all day and see many vennekes. Heeze Castle is also nice to visit. Forest, heathland, fens, beech lanes and restaurants, it's all there.
