Mekes Schilderwerken

Mike painted our entire house in 2019 and we are extremely satisfied. He is very precise in his work, gives a decent price for this and he can be trusted. We were on vacation, Mike had the key and painted it all over during our vacation. A nice gift when you return! I honestly don't understand anything about the other 1 star review, I don't recognize anything of Mike's work in that story. It is also striking that the person has only given 1 review .. Fake?

Unfortunately I have very bad experiences with Mekes Schilderwerken. Although in hindsight the signals were there before, you still want to give someone the benefit of the doubt. Wrongly, as it turns out. Although clear agreements had been made with Mekes in advance, he does not fulfill them at all. His work is of poor quality, there is poorly sanded and putty and poorly "poorly" painted, making the end result to cry. In addition, work agreed with Mekes has not been carried out. This review is mainly written to prevent other people from making the same mistake by working with Mekes. In the meantime, several experts have looked at the work and reports have been drawn up, which have shown, among other things, that the work is of a poor level, full of failures, agreed and offered work has not been done and all kinds of new defects have also come to light ( like other / worse paint than offered and that the top and bottom of the doors are not done at all). In short, Mekes has made a mess of it, but insists high and low that he has done his job well. After sending the defective reports, Mekes says he does not want to respond. Incidentally, communication was also very poor during work: nothing was discussed, Mekes mainly did his own thing, there was little communication, and there was little system in his approach. When he was suddenly gone (it was reported from nowhere that the gentleman was suddenly finished), it turned out that a lot was wrong, but no home was given anymore.

On the advice of friends we ended up with Mike. Last summer he painted the entire house on the outside of our house. Work has been carried out neatly as agreed. Looks super sleek again and can withstand it for years to come. No regrets about outsourcing the work to this professional.
