Good place to get some food or to eat. Service was a bit slow at our table at the end but they were very friendly. I recommend this place when you visit Baarle Nassau. They had some unique collection of cocktails and good gin-tonics. The beer collection was also nice! I recommend the tripel karmeliet since that beer is great!

Surprisingly good meat and salads. The Argentinian Entrecote with Chimichurri sauce was extraordinary.

Quiet town situated between the border of NL and Belgium. Walked around the town and had our lunch in the Den Engel restaurent food was amazing and all the dishes whether it was salad, chicken or the rice perfectly cooked with delicious taste. Must visit the place to clearly differentiate between the Dutch and Belgian side. Funny that there certain pockets on land or houses which is Dutch and rest are Belgian side. We could see the difference of how the Belgian follow the Covid precautions ( like wearing Mask in public and not the case in the Dutch side.

The restaurant truly stands for the quality. Both the pre- and the main course were truly tasty and vert nicely served. Definitely recommend!
