Never been so insulted by another party. After email and telephone contact about the trade-in of a motorcycle, Michiel van der Glas had come to the conclusion that we would be able to work it out. I suggested adding about € 500 - € 750. After making another phone call, we decided to drive the motorcycle to Rijnwoud to settle the deal after a successful test drive. Test drive was nice, nothing to criticize on the car. Once I got back, I received a trade-in proposal to which I had to add almost € 8000. This was verified ten times by this best man to which he responded with a strange story and also seemed to feel very uncomfortable. When I was visibly irritated and angry and decided to leave, he even dared to ask if I would not buy the car without trade-in. A healthy person will never label this as 'we will get out of this'. This was a difference of more than € 7,000 In retrospect, it seemed that he changed his mind the moment I got there and then made an excuse. Apart from this insult, I sat on the bike for 2 hours, I had no deal and I was seriously offended. An excuse was the least he could have offered. His action has ensured that I actually bought the same car elsewhere 2 weeks later. As much as I wanted the car that was there, I refuse to do business with this man ever again.
