The place is the perfect getaway for friends and family! With lots of attention to detail, a great BBQ grill, a pool and nice rooms and nature surrounding you, you are relaxing from the very first minute. We liked it very much and will come back! Highly recommended!!!

I had a fantastic experience at the Annex last Fall. I brought my team there for a 24 hour offsite. We worked at the dining room table, while enjoying delicious snacks and meals. We went for a gorgeous walk in the woods and enjoyed a Michelin start dinner followed by drinks and music. It was a wonderful break from city life and we left relaxed and revived. It's a beautiful house in a serene location - a real get away.

Last weekend we left the city buzz of Amsterdam for nature's tranquility in Geijsteren. After a short 1.5 hour drive, we were welcomed at The Annex for a retreat royale by the loving culinary entrepreneur and owner Dita. She and her husband created a genuinely welcoming location where a short stay feels like an endless vacation. A royale welcome with champagne made us feel at home immediately. We were surprised with an exquisite dinner with paired wines on Saturday evening, and a lovely breakfast the following morning, all home-made in her spacious chef kitchen. After a heavenly sleep, and an autumn walk in the forest of Geijsteren, we returned to the city life feeling rested, regenerated and at peace. Thank you Dita for your personal and attentive spirit, for being there just when we needed you all the while respecting our privacy at an arm's length. We will be back soon!

Every time’s a charm I first booked the Annex for a team offsite and it absolutely exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Dita helped me plan the agenda and create a unique experience to help connect my team. Gourmet meals, forest walks, lounging by the pool, and a Michelin star dinner at Hoeve de Bogaard. This intimate experience was the perfect combination of detox, retox and reconnection. The Annex space is cozy, yet spacious and welcoming. It’s decorated in a retro chic style. When you enter, you feel like you’ve walked into the Sofia Loren’s country home in the 60s. We enjoyed the pool, cozy fireplace and of course, trendy cocktails. The house is set on a private refuge amongst forests and farmland, yet walkable to the charming town of Geijsteren. The food - I mean where to start. Every meal, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner, was almost like having a Michelin star dinner. Some of my favorites: scrambled eggs with creme fraiche and caviar for breakfast, the tomato carpaccio and whole fish cooked on the grill by the pool at lunch, and of course all the paired wines. I booked again for a personal trip over a weekend, and again, it was an absolute pleasure. If you are looking for a personal getaway or corporate retreat, The Annex is the perfect spot. I can’t recommend this place enough!
