A nice old church. The Protestants received this church in Vierlingsbeek as compensation for the loss of the large church. That large church was owned by the Protestants of Vierlingsbeek for 1.5 century and had been neglected all the time until the French era. Napoleon returned the big church to the Catholics. Then the small church was neglected by the Protestants. During the second world war it was minimally visited and afterwards a bit more used. In the 90-ies of the last century it was refurbished, a heating was installed and it was named Koningskerkje. And it became available to everyone. It is now an exhibition space and weddings are celebrated. A characteristic quiet spot of Vierlingsbeek.
