I've been to this butcher on two occasions by now, both of which have been disappointing. In my first encounter I called beforehand to ask if they had boneless pork shoulder. Their response was "of course, just stop by", so I did. I ordered one 4 cm piece of boneless pork shoulder, and after some confusion by the lady at the counter, got my order cut by "the butcher"; but when I came home I found out that it was in fact 2 x 2cm pieces of shoulder with the bones attached. (Strike one) In my second encounter, I called beforehand to ask how they deal with orders of bones. To my surprise, they mentioned that they always have some bones in their assortiment. To confirm I asked "So I won't need to order?" and they responded with "No, you can just stop by". So that's what I did. Queue a few days later when I stop by to buy the bones, when I ask the (same) lady at the counter to advice me on the selection of bones they currently have in stock I'm greeted with a rude "Bones?! I don't know what you even want to hear from me??". Thus, "The butcher" was called again, and he advised me that bones do indeed need to be ordered in advance. So now I'm in the wonderful predicament of having to figure out a way to store all other aspects of my Ramen for a week while I wait for that order to come through. I'm sure that if you buy your meats based on what they've got laying in their display, that they'll be wonderful. But I personally only go to the butcher when I'm in need of specialty items or custom sized cuts, and in that case I'm afraid this butcher fails miserably on customer service and clarity of communication.

Regularly get meat here and it is always good and always served neatly and friendly.

Super tasty, but the term cross-contamination is unknown. After raw (wet) pork, your fillings are simply cut on the same machine. Discussed, but more or less laughed at. So if you have a strong stomach and are not pregnant, definitely come and get it here. It is really tasty.
