Its best when you have a dog, many people walk there with their dogs, usually properly socialised and playfull

Great park to walk with the dog. It is very unfortunate that dogs are not welcome in the pavilion, so a cup of coffee with that delicious apple pie is not in it. Hence better to 't Peeske where this combination can.

The Horsterpark is a park that belongs to the municipality of Duiven, but lies against Westervoort. In itself a very nice park, but it is a loose area for dogs and Westervoort alone has around 1400 dogs. Although the access road has a sign that states that dogs must be kept under control, almost every dog ​​owner ignores it. Dogs are not kept under control and seek physical contact with people, jump on them or obstruct their way. Freedom of happiness for the dogs, but not for those who want to enjoy a walk through the park without infringing on their physical integrity or privacy. Or to put it more simply: without getting dirty clothes on it. Gross offenses against which dog owners cannot be addressed; they believe that the run-off area assumes that everything will run loose. And so it doesn't. Furthermore, they ignore any kind of criticism or want to start a 'discussion' about something that is simply a violation. The problem lies with them and not with the person who is bothered by their dog.
