Positive experience with De Verlichters! Bought 6 lamps including 4 rope balls. Delivery was on the long side due to holiday period and different color of thread, but this was no problem. Quality of the lamps was also fine. No problems so far and I was happy with my purchase. I was asked if I needed help placing the lamps. I said I definitely wanted this because of a bad back. When finally the technician came by and needed 2 evenings to hang 6 lamps, I was surprised that it had to take so much time. Initially, the mechanic did not have a staircase or a concrete drill with him. Fortunately, the interior stylist who was present at the time was able to arrange a staircase and I had a concrete drill that he could use. Then the invoice came ... 6 hours x 35 euros ex VAT labor costs! First; An hour's wage has never been agreed (because of the size of the order, I initially thought it was an extra service, but this was naive of myself and I should have paid more attention to this and immediately asked for an expected lead time and hourly rate ). Second; When the technician was asked why hanging 6 lamps needed more than 6 hours, the response was very short: "I even worked a little more than 6 hours and still only charge 6 hours" ... Even if it was 5 hours , then it is still only 6 lamps! Thirdly; When it was indicated that the mechanic did not have all his stuff with him (stairs and concrete drill), it was indicated that he would make sure that these are present at the customer ... I objected to the bill and hoped we could accommodate each other, but this was not possible. In fact, I had to be happy that only 6 hours was charged ... So although I am satisfied with the lamps and the sales service of De Verlichters, I am very dissatisfied with the technician who hired them for the installation. The technician works from the company "De Lichtbron" from Putten. Normally I would give 4 stars for De Verlichters, but because of the mechanic who is arranged this comes out at 2 stars.
