After our old Bulldog had eaten a skewer in its entirety, we decided to call the vet immediately .. we could go straight to last Friday evening. We ourselves think that our old bulldog of 11.5 would never have survived the surgery / recovery, after almost 2.5 hours we managed to remove the skewer with chicken and all through the esophagus. The stick was already half in the stomach and with various pliers and tools they have done everything to achieve a good result. It was quite nervous for all of us. But my thanks certainly go to Ilse and her colleague who have shown the peace and patience to get this done without surgery. As I said to Ilse when we finally had the skewer out: "well done chick" and a well deserved pat on the back. We really think our dog has been saved by acting quickly and appropriately. Thank you very much Ilse and colleague !! The bullie is completely back to normal 😉

So grateful Last weekend our 11.5 year old bulldog had eaten a skewer without chewing. With an endoscopy, vet Ilse found the baton. She has been busy for over an hour and a half and managed to avoid an operation for our old friend. What patience and perseverance, really fantastic. We are so grateful to you and rumble too .. fam. What a sweet and caring staff at this clinic. Our Ollie had a neck hernia and terrible pain 😢 Susan made a schedule of different painkillers and gave some good advice. It took a while but finally we gradually see our old Ollie back. Thank you very much dear people and we wish you all happy holidays and a paw from Ol. Love Karin and Rinus Beumer

Goede en snelle diagnose gesteld bij onze hond geen flauwekul eromheen.. was het 2x 1,5 uur rijden er naar toe zeker waard!

Meniscus problems It had been messing around for a while, Buzz our Labrador imported from USA, did not behave as advertised in the ad. "A perfect dog to bring in your game", Buzz certainly does that very well. But we could never have imagined that Buzz would be so wild and beep beep. And yes, it went wrong once, crippled right back. Well that will pass. Well, really not. On to the top specialist and orthopedist Dr. Daan Kranendonk of Dierenkliniek Putten. Dr. It took Zane only a few minutes to determine the conclusion: meniscus rupture. Well, surgery and 6 weeks of rest. The operation was done by the great master himself, what a class is delivered in Putten! 6 weeks of rest with this ADHD dog, what a challenge. Meanwhile the hind leg had deteriorated considerably in strength. An advice followed: for “aqua-water training” in Hollandse Rading, with Anna Steijling. After the first treatments you saw that Buzz walked more and more easily. Once a week half an hour in the bath, against the waves. Buzz thought it was poor, we were very enthusiastic ourselves. Nevertheless, on the advice of Anna, a visit to Drs. Jacha Heukels to have a good look at Buzz's vertebrae and back. Drs. Jacha Heukels, who certainly belongs to the very best top in the Netherlands - Orthomanual Veterinarian - was able to apply quite a few corrections to Buzz. During the treatment, Buzz was fully smacked. It must have been quite painful. After all, as a tough USA Labrador you won't budge! But he did step out on 4 legs and feels completely the Buzz we know again. Just take it easy and then we are back !! Buzz is now again running his training sessions with great bravado and clearly enjoys it. And of course that includes his “macho behavior” a lot of scratching and tail in curl on his back.
