I did the Self-confidence booster in Amsterdam at Meryem. Because of her openness and kindness she always managed to create a familiar atmosphere and I enjoyed following the course with great pleasure. It was always exciting what we were going to do but afterwards I usually had a positive vibe home. I feel better now, I am better at recognizing my limits and I dare to indicate this more. My self-confidence is really 'blown away' and I can therefore recommend it to everyone!

The self-confidence booster of I Love Me in Amsterdam at Meryem was a safe, accessible and playful way for me to show myself more without being guided by fear. This has given me the feeling and the knowledge that it is not so bad with that fear, because there is no right or wrong doing. The fear is still there, but I can take it more often without having to fight it. This also helped me enormously in situations such as a presentation at work or just saying something in a group. I feel I have made a big leap forward, especially when you consider that I used to keep my mouth shut because of my stuttering.

The Amsterdam self-confidence booster has succeeded in every way. The teacher is involved, friendly, encouraging, safe and knows how to forge 12 strangers into a group. Together we had the courage to leave our comfort zone and actually learn. For example, I realized that my verbal messages did not match the look in my eyes at all, so the receiver was not impressed at all by what I said. With practice and a lot of hilarity I managed to convey a message with confidence. In short, the course is about learning very essential things with a lot of fun and humor.

Theater actually didn't seem like a thing to me, but curiosity won it anyway and that's how I came to the self-confidence booster in Amsterdam. I had fun, got touched and learned a lot. No idea what to expect, but certainly did not expect it to bring me so much. Meryem was able to create a very safe environment from the start, so that you always go a little further than you thought you could or dare, but always in a way that you have control over how far you want to go. She was super enthusiastic every week and was able to respond very well to the group, but also to think along with everyone separately. I think everyone can actually learn something here, but in the worst case you have 10 weeks of fun!
