Children's Village Neerbosch,
What a wonderful time for me. A time I will always remember. I have sat there in groups in the well-known pavilions. I had a lot of fun times together with several young people who were also there. It was always fun and there was always plenty to do in the area. Had a lot of contacts, friends and girlfriends. Unfortunately, to this day, I no longer have contact. But luckily the memory remains forever.

On December 1, 1974 I started as a group leader at the Spechten community.
Had a very good time. Team consisted of Sjef, Frieda, 3rd name shot.
The group with Astrid, Joyce, Ronnie, Martin, Marcel, Corrie, Jennie, Petra, Truusje, Marcel, George and later Iwan, Eric, Andre, etc, etc. Last name known to me but just not naming. Reopened after 4 years of the Kraayenest Living Group. Beautiful memories. I am still in contact with Ronnie and he keeps me informed of the news on a regular basis. Went to the Hoenderloo Group in 1980. After 20 years there as a manager at Ama's (asylum seekers) Naar3 years from 2003 working as a manager at Intermetzo. 40 years of youth care and still active. But the memory remains as a panther started on Neerbosch with many good and warm memories.
That 20000 children have once lived here, which is quite impressive. A visit to the small museum is very worthwhile. The stories that are told here are very impressive.
