Villa Zilverlinde

Villa Zilverlinde is a great place to stay in Holland. It's in a beautiful quite part of the country with everything you need close by. We rented the whole Villa for a family holiday and it was the perfect oasis to return to after busy days of sight seeing. Erika was a great host. She made our stay pleasant and comfortable. I recently stayed at Villa Zilverlinde for a long weekend with my boyfriend and I had a truly wonderful time. The villa is an enormous building and beautifully decorated both inside and outside; you can see that a lot of care is taken to maintain it and it really was immaculate! Every suite is different, they all have a quirky touch with funky artwork on display wherever you look; it was something really refreshing. The villa is located in a great place with the main town of Vorden just a 10 minute walk away and there you can find supermarkets, restaurants, an ice cream parlour, the train station and even a castle! What made this trip so special were the hosts and the team - they can't do enough for you! Erika is so friendly and warm and Grieto is so kind and gentle - they make you feel so at home. No ask is too big! And the team - a fantastic bunch - who keep the place spotless and pleasant! Breakfast is served every morning at whatever time you'd like - I thought this was so accommodating. Other than the eggs, you can help yourself which meant you could have breakfast just how you liked it. It consists of fresh breads, both sweet and savoury, with butter and jams available, a lovely selection of hams and cheeses, eggs however you want them cooked, a great variety of teas, juices, etc. If the weather's good, you can even eat it outside with a beautiful view of a pond. The garden has an enchanted forest feel! We will definitely be back. Thanks so much for making our stay so much fun everyone!

We really enjoyed a long weekend away at Villa Zilverlinde. Lovely room, great breakfast and a nice walk in the snow through the woods and past Castle Vorden. That makes Corona more than bearable! Erika and her husband are warm people who really know what being host and hostess is all about!
