Hofje van Weltevreden

The development concerns a new residential concept with 28 apartments. It is expected that by the end of 2020, at 's-Gravenweg 208, the “Hofje van Weltevreden” will be realized. A total of 28 apartments will be rented out for whom quality and care are a primary necessity of life. The apartments ranging from 36 m² to 70 m² are equipped with a living-bedroom with kitchenette and luxurious bathroom. The theme of the “Hofje” in combination with self-reliance is central to living in the concept. The 24/7 service facilities make it particularly suitable for people suffering from dementia, with or without a partner, but is not limited to this group only. Lounges, consisting of living rooms, garden rooms, dining rooms, sitting areas, kitchen and library, will merge effortlessly together with the apartments, corridors and garden. An environment is created for social interaction between residents that guarantees a high degree of privacy and self-reliance. The very spacious lounges are an important part. Family, friends and acquaintances can be received privately in part of a lounge or in the apartment. Inside the courtyard there is a communal garden. For the plot behind the courtyard there are plans to create an experience park with, if possible, a Biotope (swimming) pond. All this geared to the mobility and safety needs of the residents, whereby indoor and outdoor are fully integrated with each other. The social aspect at “Hofjes” will partly determine the final composition of this small residential community.
