Booked through benefits, 3 nights with breakfast, the breakfast was excellent as was the friendly Mw who served the breakfast neatly taking into account the corona measures. However, due to the enormous heat 34 degrees, the hotel room was close to 40 degrees. We therefore only stayed 2 nights and had the sliding doors open at night, there was no window and of course a lot of stitching! Nobody can do anything about the heat, I recommend everyone to go for a 4 star hotel with a fridge and possibly air conditioning in the room. The room is somewhat dated, the beds were good, but the make-up or daily cleaning was downright bad, I took a picture of how the bed was made, a course in this might help ?? When we arrived it was quite good. Not again for us unfortunately. Not a single word that we left earlier after complaints, have of course fully paid the bill. In terms of friendliness, the Mw who served breakfast was very friendly. some can learn something from that!

I made a reservation at Martensplek. Reserved for the golf course at the same time. Then we received an invoice to pay four weeks in advance. My partner mistakenly paid this bill immediately. This, to put it mildly, surprises me very much. Paying hotels this far in advance is not a common occurrence, people pay afterwards and, if necessary, leave a credit print on arrival. But it is completely strange to have to pay the green fee in advance. On a golf course you reserve a strat time but you only pay at the start. What if it rains? What then? I will not play then, but will certainly not get my money back. ALL IN ALL A BAD START. although we still have to go, a lot will have to happen if we want to give this hotel a sufficient rating.

Now the first day, nice hotel with only 10 rooms. Neat and clean. Beautiful setting and the food is top notch. Points: poor WiFi and fairly small TVs with DVB.
