Much war history about the village of Nieuwlande. During the war, this village provided shelter to many people in hiding. The museum "de Duikelaar" gives a good insight into the lives of these people in hiding and their hosts !!!

A truly unique museum. Small-scale but certainly not too small. Once started as a private museum. The museum feels very authentic. It is not a museum aimed at mass tourism, but the museum wants to tell the story of the village. Really worth a visit
