Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Loosdrecht-Amsterdam

Nice location, right on the lake. Decent breakfast in a nice looking restaurant. Bit understaffed though. Hotel and rooms side needs an overhaul. Corridors and walls depressing. Nice big room,a dream for interior designers... old facilities and very basic. Matrasses need replacement and rock hard pillows. But a hotel with potential.

We booked a boat with Fletcher Hotels Loosdrecht for Saturday the 30th of May. That morning I called the reception to confirm where we can park. The receptionist told me ‘oh by the way, the boat is broken’. I understand things go wrong, but why did the hotel not inform us the evening or morning before? We would have made a trip for nothing if I did not call. Additionally, the receptionist promised that he would call me on Tue the 2nd of June to arrange an alternative trip. I still have not received any further call or email. The management of the hotel is horrible and I do not recommend to support this hotel in any way.

They did not want to serve us at 11.45 am because we were not hotel guests. Terrace was open and hotel guests were served. Other cyclists were also sent away.

Very friendly staff! One staff member was constantly playing with my 2 year old nephew and was yet still very professional! Very happy with this place and their staff!!
