7/10 would definitely barf again

I come here regularly. Although my heartburn immediately bubbles up when I feel the auras of the many fallen soldiers here, I feel at home here. On the one hand my direct sour taste when entering this place gives me a feeling of disgust, on the other hand it also gives me the feeling that I am really alive. Not many places in this area can do that. "A must barf" if you ask me. A place of many peaks and troughs, even though no blade grows anymore. A historical highlight in our history-rich polder and the direct connection with the house of the 3 stones creates a true walk through history if you decide to put them on your route together.

As in many fairytales it is started with "once upon a time ...", this also applies to this one. Let me please you with this fairytale. Once upon a time there was a boy from the world famous Molenaarsgraaf. He lives with his family in a particularly beautiful area on the Graafdijk-Oost. Although he has all the facilities here that a person could wish for, he still travels into the wide world. He wanders around the river where he lives and at one point comes across a friend's house. He knocks on the door and is let in. Once inside, he also meets other friends. "This promises to be a wonderful evening" he thought. Unfortunately, this turned out not to be quite the case for this poor boy. His "friends" had decided to poison this dear fellow with the terribly poisonous substance C2O5OH. The boy did not realize this in time and got a "nice juice" from one of his "friends" he drank this like a real man, ignorant of what will happen later. The drug takes some time to work in and before our boy realizes it everything starts to turn and he is no longer open to reason. Suddenly he realizes what just happened, but it is already too late ... The rest of the evening became a blur and he couldn't keep his stomach contents down. Ultimately he died in this historic place ...

Actually, you should have been there to understand, but I'll put context for the unknowns. It was a beautiful summer evening, in the middle of summer I even dare to say. I was hanging out with some friends and offered a good friend of mine the famous 'apple'. He gladly accepted it, but underestimated how hard this apple would be on his stomach. What followed can only be described as a typical Greek tragedy. This place is the last memory that remains after a long period of time. Plants no longer grow here thanks to the famous apple. And I'm not sorry.

The sun had set for quite some time when I first came into contact with this special place. Someone once said that the 2 most important days in a man's life were the day he was born, and the day he found out why. And this was such a day ... I have never been much of a fan of graphics and so I will explain it to you by way of a metaphor. You see, as if the sun was just shining its early rays over the world, these orange rays ended up in this place. The composition was solid as the foundation of the earth, but at the same time liquid like the water that flows over the earth. A sound; an animal growl broke the silence of the night. The sound, later retold by many as supernatural, was accompanied by a jerky movement as the last bit was squeezed out. When people later returned to the site, it turned out that the former vegetation had no longer had a chance of life and had to pay for the event with a quick death. You wonder now, of course, whether this myth has a ground of truth or is only folklore. As a writer I cannot judge either of these conclusions and I only call on you to judge for yourself; after inhaling the sour smoke in this place and imagine how this should have played out on that particular evening in that particular place ...
