VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AT GBA! I was a starting entrepreneur and looking for an accountant who knows the rules and can help me to do business in the right way. I have been treated very badly in several ways: - Firstly, they did not pay the tax to NL and BE according to the rules as they should. They said they were going to work on it, but then I was never told anything again. After that they did not know what they had done with the tax of BE, so that I now have to pay the VAT of 2017 in 2019 on the gamble. - In addition, I never come into contact with the people who should be my point of contact. They never answer the phone, don't respond to emails and leave the dirty work on the phone assistant. - They promised everything that they would fix certain things, but that was never kept. - They come on the very last day with the VAT declaration quarter after you have to email them 100 times whether they have it ready. If on the 31st the amount has to be in the tax account, on the 30th they will send the amount that I had to transfer. Then you also have a delay with the banks, so that I was several times late with reporting the quarterly returns. The tax has therefore sent me several warnings that I am too late to declare the VAT. - They just asked for a postponement for tax returns without me asking afterwards, but I had to pay for it. - Because I was not helped at all by one accountant as I wanted, I thought that I would be in the right place with one of the partners of the company, but that was even worse. They would make minor adjustments to the 2017 tax return and then we would file the tax return afterward. I literally CALLED EVERY DAY FOR 3 WEEKS and asked if I had already succeeded and NOT 1 TIME DID HE USE ME ON THE TELEPHONE. Every day I heard: "He's not here, can I pass on something?" "" Sorry, I'm busy, I'll call you later "" "I'll call you tomorrow" "" I'll call you Monday ". 3 weeks later I was completely done with it and I indicated that I am looking for another accountant, I have NOT heard AN EXCUSE 1 TIME about the fact that I was totally ignored by him, received an expensive bill afterwards so that he would finish anyway and they ended up leaving the 2018 paperwork like a mess, when they billed me for it. DISGUSTING COMPANY, I don't understand how this still exists! Believe me, look for another accountant because nobody really wants or has time for this.
