Het Gouden Kalf

Our evening at Het Gouden Kalf was just perfect. We had a great dinner and the staff was super friendly. We had a 3 Course Dinner where you can choose starter, main course and dessert from 5 variations each. So everybody will find something (vegetarian, fish and meat) We would say it was our best dinner in Scheveningen and if you like good food - just go there!

Really good food, nice staff and good location. But it's not a budget location

Booked after recommendation by a friend and we were not disappointed. Great variety in the menu - and certainly all the choices made by those in our party were delicious. Not overly fussy but bore the hallmark of an excellent chef - husband declared the lasagne to be the best ever (and he has been sampling lasagne for well over 50 years now!). Staff all excellent - attentive without making us feel swamped, all in all a great night out.

I came here for my birthday. The place is very modern and nice looking and the service is excellent. I ordered the Prestige Menu, which had 5 normal dishes and 2 dessert menu. Out of the 5 dishes I really liked 3 (the last 3 dishes before dessert) For the last dessert they algo gave us a perfect looking red chocolate cake!

Amazing!! food, superb quality and worth the reasonable price. Staff were brilliant.
