After water damage to our basement (sleeping floor) we have our carpet removed to the bare concrete floor. After this we were faced with the question of which subfloor and which floor covering we repair the damage. Thanks to the excellent advice from Le Chique - Interieur, we succeeded. Our concrete floor is fully leveled and provided with marmoleum (Forbo SureStep China Blue). The advice worked out perfectly because our basement needs extra light. We are very happy with this color. In addition, everything is perfectly executed. The egalin layer is super tight (is a precondition for an idem tight marmoleum floor). We have had two stairs covered with wood by Le Chique to your complete satisfaction. After a number of pleasant and enlightening conversations in the showroom and a measurement appointment at our home, where the color of the wood that perfectly matches the existing parquet floor was chosen, the stairs were tackled in three steps. Because we have an upper house without a garden, we had to cut and work in the house, which we depending on. But there was neat work with protective underlay and there was no dust and sawdust residue; we were not at home at the time of the completion and the house is neatly left behind. In addition, in our nearly 100-year-old house little is really straight and the customization delivered per step is impressively precise; that is also something we got back from others who admired the stairs. It was also nice that the steps were pre-oiled, so that no longer had to be done on site. In short: the people of Le Chique deliver craftsmanship! We are very satisfied.

TRADE WORK: Oak parquet floor in herringbone (with band) laid in the living room by LeChique, including skirting boards and a new (oak) grid for over the convector pit. Wood quality is excellent. The parquet layer from LeChique has delivered half-timbering. Around the fireplaces, the room ensuite and the convector pit, the floor has been laid with an eye for small details: think of 'taken out corners' in the band and beautiful long jump. The skirting boards and the grille finish the whole beautifully. COMPANY: LeChique is a small company. This has the advantage that you as a customer are not treated as a number. Service and customer-friendliness are of paramount importance at LeChique. LITTLE awkwardness: LeChique does not get a full five stars, because there are still some small points for improvement. The plinths were not placed correctly at once: what could have been avoided and better (interim) consultation. There was also a small glue splatter incident. I label this incident as bad luck (for the flooring and for me) and was immediately well addressed by LeChique. All things considered, these little dots get in the way of a perfect five out of five star rating. I do mention that at LeChique the customer is really king and the work is only finished when the customer is satisfied. I highly recommend LeChique!
