B&B Be Home Scheveningen

At the beginning this place will look like crap, but then you get used to it and it will seem like everything is there. Do you have a garage, a bathroom, a shower, a refrigerator, a TV, a wash basin and 3 beds, one single and one double, three board chairs and other 3 comfortable chairs. You also have WiFi. All this in one room. The only flaw is that you can't cook ... no cooking utensils. And the bathroom is very narrow.

First you should know that the Be home Scheveningen consists of several bookable units. The welcome from the landlord was friendly and nice. We had booked an "apartment" with two rooms, each with a double bed. A fifth person could sleep on a sofa bed in the living room. Room 1 is on the ground floor. Sagging mattresses and defective slatted frames (a few slats were simply missing). The room has an access to the inner courtyard. The bathroom (shower, tub, toilet, washbasin) is opposite. Size is ok. Cleanliness was superficially ok, but the cupboards were dirty (no toilet paper, as advertised). The kitchen-living room including a large table (6 people) and room 2 can be reached via a steep, unlit staircase. The kitchen is worn out and poorly equipped. Cutlery and crockery for 5-6 people and a few (partly dirty) pots. The gas stove had various defects (including ignition element). There was no lighter or matches! Cooking was a challenge due to the sparse equipment! The apartment was partly dusty, which you saw especially in the corners and on the lampshade feet. Allergy sufferers are not in good hands here. The specified fireplace could not / was not allowed to be used either. The parking lot could be booked for 15 euros per night / day. For us it was a garage space. The apartment can be reached through a small hallway through the garage. Another (smaller ??) apartment seems to be accessible from here. I would NOT book this apartment / unit again!

Simple, comfortable and very clean. The landlord is friendly and nice.
