Benjamin Forenczpad

A very nice green path, the Benjamin Forencz path, a green border between the Peace Palace and the Carnergielaan. It rises a bit on the one side you can see the Karnegiebron over the Carnergielaan between the greenery and on the other side you get a view of the buildings of the Peace Palace every now and then. At certain points you can see reddish lava stones, I have heard that, donated by France, during the construction of the Peace Palace. The path ends at the Scheveningseweg with a view of the NIBC (bank) on one side and the beautiful fence of the Peace Palace on the right. At a large bank that was placed not so long ago, you can see the Haagse Beek disappear under the street. Sometimes you see kingfishers there but more often herons fishing.
