A MUST see when visiting (or living in) Rotterdam. They recently celebrated their 25th anniversary and some of the art that is made there is amazing! Most of the artists have physical or mental disabilities and de Herenplaats is an excellent place where they can express themselves. During our most recent visits we have purchased several pieces of art; both small and large. Go visit and interact with the artists, you'll be delighted.

Fantastic man (Vincent) who guided us. Great that someone is so committed. The shoes you can buy there are great, like the patent leather shoes like Hugo de Jonge.

Beautiful institute where people with any disability can be trained to become artists and continue to work and exhibit there. Exchanges with similar institutes lead to interesting exhibits. Hereby 2 pages from the big book.
