Was nice experience

A museum about the history of the drainage of the peat lakes in and around Rotterdam, in the first pumping station that was built for this purpose. The pumping station is still working as it did 150 years ago, but no longer on steam but on electricity, with the electrical machinery, which dates back to 1927. I found it very surprising and the volunteer staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The building is located right along the metro line near Schenkel station. If you come from Rotterdam by metro you can see it. I had passed it a hundred times without seeing it.

Always nice to meet locals in our Capelse village. Kind of lie bench but then inside.

Very nice changing exhibitions about the capel life of the past. Now the schools.
