Today I can get up from a chair for the first time after months without hurting. That's because I went to an Osteopath today. Before that I went to Fysius 20 times (twenty times!) Without having helped me. The approach of Fysius was different from that of the manual therapist I visited regularly, I had chosen Fysius because the pain came back faster and faster after treatment. Then I talk about intervals of 6 months and later 4 months. Fysius would approach the problem differently so that the pain would stay away longer. You don't have a 'personal practitioner' at Fysius, but a number of different ones, just who has the time. The people are all friendly and gave me the impression that they knew what they were doing, but the result was not forthcoming. To make a long story short, a few days later, as a 50+ guy, I literally howled in pain because I really couldn't stand up anymore. That happened 5 times that day and I immediately decided to NEVER go here again. After 20 visits I had not been without pain for one day. I have paid more than € 600 and have suffered unnecessary pain for months! I canceled my appointments and indicated that I would still like to be called by one of my practitioners to tell my story. Previously the intention was just to make another appointment with a manual therapist and then accept that this is necessary several times a year, but by chance someone pointed me to Osteopathy. After my first visit I am positively surprised, I can get out of my chair without pain and that is literally months ago. I opted for a 2 star rating because 1 star seems to be an indiscriminate angry reaction and that is not this. It seems to me that after 20 treatments a practitioner should have told me that maybe I was not in the right place here because the chance that the next 20 treatments would solve the problem is now nil .....
