Restaurant De Gouden Bock

We recently went to eat at this restaurant while in Zeeland and had a terrible experience. The food quality was not good and the price was too expensive. We ordered de steak for 2 persons for €90 and it was the worst steak we ever had. The side salad was just some large leaves with no taste. The only savings grace was that the mussels were good. Overall not worth the money at all even for half the price. There are many much better restaurants around so skip this one.

Nice restaurant with excellent quality food and decent service. Be prepared to combine and share several dishes as they are rather tapas-sized.

Lovely restaurant with fantastic staff. We ordered the cote de l'os as it was our anniversary and the starters that came with the meal were superb. Thoroughly enjoyable evening. We made the right choice.

What a fantastic meal we had. We went for the chef’s selection, delicious well curated selection of food at a great price. A good wine list at all price points. What was so amazing was how they bring the most interesting flavours from around the world to enhance but never overwhelm the boat fresh seafoods. Korean chilli spiced cockles - inspired. The service really made it. They were informative, friendly and generous. An inexplicable valentines discount made the price far too low! Had to make it up with a tip!
