A small chalet-like building in a garden near the center of Middelburg. Not big, but you have a small terrace and space to safely park a bicycle. The way there is a bit strange, via an (unlit) alley that leaves from a playground in the Sint-Jorisstraat, but you first have to pick up the key at Bleek number 23. I stayed there for 5 nights. The B&B lives up to its name, because it is indeed a quiet place! You can check in from 2 pm. Privacy enough (I have never even seen the landlord, but a roommate). Breakfast comes from the fridge (bread rolls, orange juice, some cheese and some butter, eggs), and there is also honey, peanut butter and chocolate. There is a kettle and a Senseo machine with more than enough pads. Very good Wi-Fi connection, good bed and good shower. There was a walking guide with 15 walks in Walcheren. Many hiking and cycling options; I rented a bike in the station (20 minutes walk).

Nice place to stay if you are on your bike. The chalet is located in the middle of the city. Free parking spaces are only available outside the city limits. The landlord has offered parking tickets for the whole day at a reasonable price (€ 9.60). With luck, you can park near the chalet. Nice landlord, breakfast is ok.

Very nice house and a fantastic host. Rob and his dog Hansje are fantastic. Everything for the breakfasts was ready in the fridge, even with eggs and all. Tip top, we enjoyed our stay immensely. If we can / may give a tip: a few extra pillows make the comfort of reading in bed or watching TV better, but it remains a quiet fantastic house in the middle of the city. Toppie Rob!
