Please be aware that personals in this hotel might have different opinions. When you call the hotel they may say something about the services is possible, when you arrived the hotel you may hear something else. It seems it is a big and professional hotel, but it is not professional at all. Update: I have sent an e-mail to the hotel and they haven’t even responded. Thus, don’t believe copy-pasted responses from the owner.

The very positive thing is, dogs are allowed here and all the staff was great with us and our dog. Thank you, much appreciated. However! For the price we paid, we have expected to go to the spa/baths and dinner at least once in 3 days, but everything was already booked when we arrived, so our whole weekend was just getting takeout and eating it in our rooms... not what we were expecting from a hotel like this. We fully understand corona makes things difficult, but still, we were a little underwhelmed.

Service is below expectations, very slow, half an hour both check in and check out, two weeks after our stay I still have funds reserved on my card, parking not paid despite confirmation from reception, rooms are not very new, staff is not well informed. Breakfast is buffet but coffee and tea we had to wait for 20mins and also tables were not cleaned regularly so we had to clean up table ourselves to be able to sit. The dining area is very beautiful though. Overall I would not recommend this hotel, for the same price there are many other, more friendly and more pleasant stays in the area.

Beautiful building in a great location. Unfortunately service is just ok, nothing special. Staff is polite, and that’s that. The restaurant is subpar. The food is not what it should be in such a hotel, or even in a hotel of lower category, and service is extremely slow (compared to other restaurants in the NL). I stayed there twice. Once pre-COVID, in Jan 2020, and once right when it reopened in May 2020 (I gave it the benefit of the doubt after my first experience and decided to go back, mainly for the view). My experience was the same both times. On the plus side, the rooms are very clean, minibar is free, with a nice selection, and restocked frequently. And the view of the sea facing bedrooms is beautiful. Edit: thank you Lila for your response. I completely understand the constraints due to COVID. My point was that these areas for improvement were there before COVID. Both my experiences were identical, therefore not related to COVID. I truly believe you can become a superbe hotel. My advice is just to focus more on the service you provide, which is a significant part of the experience of staying in a hotel. Especially a hotel as beautiful as yours.

Very good experience. Unfortunately, could not enjoy the sumptuous Waves restaurant due to Corona measures.
