Nice place for group gatherings close to the railway station. The buffet dinner was very good - I particularly enjoyed the seafood offerings.

I was here with the Christmas dinner of our company with a party of about 45 people. Although the food seems well prepared the food is outright dull and without any surprise and in many cases not meeting even basic expectations of the dish listed on the menu. Vegetables are limited to a few pieces of lettuce that is in fact nothing more then decoration. No music nor atmosphere. Really awful coffee served without a cookie or chocolate. I tried very hard but could not come up with a single positive. Sorry, but i would not recommend this place to anyone but my worst enemy

Celebrated my wedding at this location and not at all satisfied with the preliminary phase, this caused a lot of stress and spoiled our anticipation. - There was hardly any communication and I often had to wait a long time for a response. - Contacts who were suddenly on vacation for several weeks, shortly before our wedding was planned. - There was no cooperation. - We had to put a lot of effort into planning a detailed meeting. In the end this was possible after much insistence 3 weeks (!!) in advance. - On the day of the wedding I got a phone call, we don't know what for. - No contact with our contact person in the week before the wedding. - The day before the wedding I received an email from a previous contact person whether heaters for outside were a good idea. Immediately responded 3 minutes later, but then no more reaction… And so there were no heaters. - Could respond very quickly when it came to money ... - And there were other little things like that. Despite the very bad preliminary stage, everything was arranged reasonably well on the day of the wedding itself. The person who arranged everything communicated well, and we were therefore satisfied with that. The iced tea was finished by mid-evening and the groom (me) was not offered a cake. But otherwise it went fine. In short, we would not recommend this location to others.

Due to the corona measures we unexpectedly had to change our wedding planning on Wednesday. After a lot of searching in the neighborhood and had many rejections, we ended up at De Veenderhoeve. There we helped very well on Wednesday about what was possible for our wedding 2 days later. Friday reception day guests, ceremony, lunch. Really super arranged! Thanks!
