Grebbelinie museum and defenses. In Woudenberg (on the border of the province of Utrecht and Gelderland, the Gelderland Valley). Volunteers run the museum with the outdoor applications: pillbox and trenches. Very interesting for parents and children. For what do we really know of the defenses against French and German troops occupying happy long time ago our country? The museum is explained very clearly in a long documentary twenty minutes which is a water line, how it functioned (or not) and what is still to be found in the landscape. Did you know that the Dutch army at that time (1940 - 1945) also built concrete shooting points, called casemates? You know of the feat that the Dutch troops there performed in Woudenberg? It is all clearly explained to you in the Grebbe Line museum.
