If you have the option to choose yourself, do not become an Arval customer They do not put the driver first, do not pro-actively solve your problems, don't live up to their promise of calling you back, they make you negotiate with the car dealers about what can be serviced and what not My experience with Athlon was 1,000 times better.

Ideal, if you read the website: at Arval you can go for an occasion lease and drive within 4 weeks! I have now been waiting 4 weeks but unfortunately no car. Obviously called Arval: unfortunately sir, but we cannot yet say when the car can be delivered ...

For a long time I doubted whether to write a review and decided to do it anyway. I have been a customer at Arval for almost 3 years, to be honest as long as you don't have to arrange anything, everything will be fine (the small things such as maintenance, etc.) Unfortunately I was involved in a collision a month ago, considerable damage but fortunately without injury. Here too Arval was quick to switch and I was able to contact a damage repair company fairly quickly. They did a quick valuation at the damage repair company and scheduled an appointment for the repair work. They have offered me a loan car from the damage repair company (so read not asked for this yourself). And this loan car is exactly what it is all about. I was called the same day to say that the damage was greater than expected and that the repairs might take longer and even be lifted over the weekend, I indicated that it is okay and that I still have a loan car. Then I was told by the employee that apparently this is a problem and that they have been allowed to offer this to me !!!!! And that I would probably get the bill for this, I thought it was ridiculous and said that I did not ask for a loaner myself and that they offered this. You guessed it, so this week I was confronted with an invoice for this loan car of approximately 120 euros. I contacted Arval and I was casually stated that the terms and conditions state that I would not be entitled to it in the first 48 hours! They are right about that, but I asked the employee in question if he would still know what exactly is in the GA if this has been more than 3 years ago that he read it? I have experienced no empathy at all and this best man kept his leg stiff and told me over and over that he is invoking the contract. I did not ask for a full cancellation but I asked for a little leniency as I have already incurred additional costs. I suggested paying half but no, no understanding was shown at all! I am so angry about these kind of customer unfriendly scenes that I am seriously considering canceling my contract early! For a long time now it is no longer about the money but purely about the principle of how customers are dealt with and there is absolutely no understanding for a genuine misunderstanding BAH!
