Yesterday afternoon my husband and I walked into this shop for a nice cheese platter (we thought). Then we were treated in a very unkind way by the seller (elderly lady). She came out of the warehouse irritated and said "can I pass by". The store was completely empty except for me and my husband, and we were 2 meters away from her. I said we were in the mood for cheese. To which she said angrily "you don't have a mouth mask so I can't get it for you!" while she stands behind the mudguards with her huge splash helmet on and 2 meters away ... Unfortunately, human decency was hard to find and communicating to the customer in a neat way. We walked out of the store without a cheese board. Too bad I can not imagine that this is the intention if you have a heart for your cause. In any case, we will not be there again because of this experience.

Truly a candy store this cheese and delicatessen store in Houten Castellum! Always promise me to hold back but always come home with more treats than intended. Also helpful is friendly and knowledgeable staff who also take time to create a beautiful gift pack! Thanks!

Was at Castellum yesterday. And was in the cheese shop. Now I do not shop much at the moment, but I can only say that it was neatly arranged in the small shop. And the friendly elderly lady helped me very kindly and neatly. Beautiful and good products.
