Great covered indoor/outdoor long track ice rink. On most Saturdays it's not super busy but today was uncharacteristically so. I speculate that this is due in part to the rink being featured in a Dutch reality show. There is a really nice indoor cafe with couches and a bar that is sometimes open on Saturdays. There is another food counter with tables and chairs where you can sit and enjoy a post-skating treat. It sits between the figure skating rink and the long track and serves typical snack food and drinks. Additionally, there is a food cart right next to the long track that serves a smaller selection of food and drinks if you just want something quick before you get back on the track. The skate rental window is staffed by knowledgeable folks who take time to explain the difference between skates and have always been super helpful. And when they are done suffering through my terrible Dutch, they switch to perfect English. You can pay with a pin pass throughout the facilities. The attached skate shop has also been really helpful on the several occasions I've stopped by. I bought skates today and was pleased with the experience and happy with my purchase.

One of Holland's main skating facilities, very centrally located in the country. Easy access by car or by bus from Utrecht Central station. Hosts both a speed skating oval as well as a hockey/figure skating rink. Within the building headquarters of the Royal Dutch Skating Association are located as well.

This is a great place for ice skating individual or in groups with children is ideal for an afternoon, a weekend day or in the holliday period where they can leave a lot of energy and joy on the ice. There are small dolphin shaped cars for the small ones who just start having contact with this activity. There are lockers and the.possibility to rent skates. If you need to take a pause they have also a place with drinks and snack where you can sit with everyone. And of course for the professionals there is also a place for ice skating with speed. Simply a great place to spend some free time.
