Ardoer camping Holterberg

Fine. Wifi slow and 3 euros a day. Toilets heated and clean. Very friendly staff. Tiny pool, but heated. Gate closes at 10pm. A stone's throw from exciting Hengelo, where it is impossible to get bored (?!)

Friendly welcome and reception. Bizarre in February with so much sun. Neatly maintained, clean sanitary facilities, etc., spots on the field with playground equipment or a place. You can walk or cycle straight from the campsite into the village or forest.

The campsite is located on the edge of a gigantic forest with nice height differences, where you can enjoy hiking and mountain biking. We have been here in the middle of winter with the camper. The toilets and showers are wonderfully heated. The road was soon cleared of snow and the hostess is pleasant and helpful.

A very nice campsite, not too big, with very nice staff. Neat sanitary facilities, nice spacious pitches. We were at 305 where we could stay in the heat of the past days (34 degrees). Beautiful surroundings right on the forest and pieterpad. For the walker, tour cyclist, mountain bike'r enough forest and asphalt to enjoy for days. Animation for the children also fun and enthusiastic. You don't have to leave the campsite for good food, because in the restaurant on the campsite you can enjoy delicious food for not too much. We recommend the giant big willy hamburger and the harbarg chicken thigh. 😋😋 The swimming pool was also doable for the kids. But because of the hot days it got very busy quickly. At 5 min. Away by car there is also a large outdoor swimming pool nearby so there is no problem. One drawback we found that there was little in the area for our four-legged friends to paddle in. There was no real cooling down for the dogs. All in all, a campsite to remember for us to return to, but with less warm weather.
