Very nice place

The living room of the Valk house is cozy, but the house is smaller than the website suggests. It is also less luxurious than the website states. You have to light the gas stove yourself with matches (which are present). The 'luxury' bathroom consists of a simple shower, sink and toilet roll holder that falls apart. For 4 days stay there was only 1 small toilet roll available. One leg of the bed was crooked. There was no socket in the bedroom, which is difficult at this time with your mobile phone that also serves as an alarm clock. We saw dirty spots (moisture?) In the 2nd bedroom closet and on the baseboard. We also saw some dark spots in the bathroom. Nowhere was a hook or coat rack to hang your coat etc. The bedrooms also lack atmosphere, are very bare and basic. There was also less space around the chalet than appears on the website. The accommodations are closer together and there was hardly any privacy with the neighbors next to us and opposite us. The vegetation was of course less now that we have gone into the winter period. In the evening we also found the park very dark, so walking the dog was not pleasant. The living room was tastefully decorated and there were a few dog biscuits ready, which we thought was a nice surprise. But Valk is smaller and less luxurious than we expected. We will not go back to this ourselves anytime soon.

A peaceful stay in a beautifully maintained park. Small-scale, not massive, lots of space. Around a paved terrace and a raised hardwood terrace with canopy. Own parking place at the chalet. The chalet was very neat. Crockery and the like was clean, everywhere you looked it made a clean impression. Good beds, pillows were not so good. Only downside. Would be nice if there were firmer pillows present. (In the cupboard as a choice) In summary: very satisfied, stayed here for a week. Nice chalet with walking and cycling routes nearby. Definitely recommend.

Small parking lot at the house. No shed for the bikes. Small bedrooms. Living room cozy. Nice view of the water. You hear the traffic on the provincial road.
