Our daughter was a 5 week old baby when we first came to Makker in Utrecht. We had no idea… Hearing aids for such a little one is an intensive process. Adjusting, making impressions for earmolds (and that over and over again, because they are often too small after a few weeks), it is a profession in itself. Often we could go straight after a visit to the WKZ, how nice is it to be able to continue driving right away! Our daughter is now 12 years old and we have been coming to Marijn for many years now. Several times we changed hearing aids and solo equipment and time and again we think along from our child. The knowledge is up to date and there is a long trial period to carefully check whether the devices and solo equipment are satisfactory. Sometimes it is the case that after a number of years the devices or solo do not work properly and have to be sent. It is very nice that Makker has loan equipment and even solo equipment available at such a time, this is certainly not standard with hearing care professionals, we hear from other parents.
We wish all (new) parents and children these empathetic, driven and skilled hearing care professionals. This, in combination with the good service and the pleasant contact, means that we enjoy the ride to Laren!
A few months ago I was told by the ENT doctor that I needed hearing aids for both ears. Given my complex combination of ringing in the ears, hyperacusis and hearing loss, the ENT doctor advised to go to a better hearing care professional. So searching the internet I came across Makker hearing aids in Laren. From the first moment of contact with Loes, I felt at ease. I was already able to visit Lonneke the same afternoon. The whole world of hearing aids was completely new to me. Lonneke was able to give me good advice in a short time and so we ended up with a Widex device within the category. Unfortunately, I continued to be bothered by the hearing aid's own noise and my phone also gave connection problems. The people at Widex were always friendly to work with us to see if we could find a solution. I have never felt a problem with Lonneke and her colleagues. Lonneke went out of her way to help me every time. Eventually we ended up with a Phonak hearing aid and fortunately I had no noise of my own. So you see that every hearing aid is different for a person and that there are so many options for finding a solution. I want to thank Lonneke and her colleagues for their good advice and support. Lonneke and Loes also have a lot of success in the new location in Amsterdam as of February. 2021.
Good and professional help in this store. Good advice and here the customer is still number 1. All time is taken for the customer.

What a great business all with equally friendly staff and what service! I came for a defect in my hearing aid explained the problem and a lady immediately said sir please sit down, I got a cup of coffee and after 20 minutes that lady came back with a repaired hearing aid! I already wanted to grab my wallet but she said sir this is our service! Really GREAT, a hot shower for the firm Makker !!
