Cornelis the owner of the small but very well stocked gallery is a charming man that knows a lot about art in general. His collection of international art is amazing. He specialises in art from the early 1900"s till Definitely a must see gallery when in Amsterdam.
Good collection of art works. The owner seems too busy to host guests. Some art works (or prints only) are over-priced. Buy carefully unless you are familiar with the market prices or get a very good bargain.
Always has something you 'gotta have in this great gallery.
Very rude owner! Shop not tidy, artwork on the floor one behind the other so you can’t see anything properly, I just moved the front one to see a piece behind and he pounced saying don’t touch the art! When I said sorry he carried on, telling me how much it was worth so don’t touch, not welcoming at all! There are ways of speaking to people. Shame because he missed out on a potential sale because of his attitude.
