Bar Alt

We had the take-away, which was just awesome! It was cooked perfectly and very easy to finish at home. The bold flavours jumped from the different plates and was more then enough for the two of us. With a lovely wine pairing the evening was complete :)

Bar Alt is a surprisingly successful combination of modern restaurant and specialty beer bar. The dish and beer pairings work quite well together, and the presentation of dishes is much more experimental than expected. The restaurant's interior is also more modern than one might assume at a beer bar, but the service is a bit lost in this space between bar and more serious restaurant. For those that are more focused on the beer part of Bar Alt, the variety of special and rare bottles is extensive and unique for a proper restaurant.

Too expensive. Good food and good experience overall. We took the 4dishes menu which was ok. I only had a wow moment with the main meat dish. Don’t get me wrong, good experience but not worthy the high price.

We did lockdown take-away and the food was delicious! Clear and easy manual how to prepare the food is included. Only disadvantage is the high amount of plastics needed for take away. Will definitely consider take-away again or reserve a table when restaurants are open again!

Very unique concept that will especially interest craft beer lovers. We opted for the 6 course chefs menu plus beer pairing. The food was creative and beautifully presented. As a craft beer enthusiast, the beer pairing was diverse and thoughtful, showcasing some of the best breweries in northern Europe. Only small annoyance was being seated right next to the kitchen even though there were other options available. Overall a highly enjoyable experience, highly recommended!
