Interesting and different! We tried it out imposingly when biking by 5 min before the show begane. The people part of the Bostheater is amazing! Was a very cozy evening!
NOT ENOUGH CARE FOR ENGLISH SPEAKING AUDIENCE. We went to a theater play on Thursday that was noted down as the day with English subtitles. However, they were placed in a way that you have to move your head to right and left if you want to understand. Often the subtitles were late to what was happening on the stage or not there at all. Three musketeers was a fun play in a beautiful place, however we payed 18.50 for a session that was supposed to be welcoming for English speakers, but it made me thing that it was only a way of getting more money because the accommodation was terribly executed.
Offers open air theater performances during the summer, with a new play each year. Traditionally, locals combine a visit with a picknick, which can be ordered on-site or brought along. Beware though, the plays are in Dutch.
