We dined there nicely at the temporary lastage

Especially suited for non Dutch speaking. You can follow with surtitles. It can be a bit distracting to read and not being able to follow the scene but we grew use to it and we still managed to enjoy quite a few plays

Nice theatre. Classic, balconies. You are quite close to the stage from all seats. For some shows they have English subtitles above the stage. Handy for tourists. But check beforehand if that is indeed the case for your chosen performance.

Lovely building, lots of events on. Beautiful interior also with some great art on the walls. Nice cafe
